उत्तर भारतीय त्रिकोणाच्या शिरोबिंदूवर ज्या पाच आशियायी देशांच्या सीमा एकत्रित आल्या आहेत त्यांची नावे :
भारताच्या उत्तरेकडील शिरोबिंदूजवळ (पामीर गाठ / वाखान कॉरिडोअर परिसरात) ज्या पाच आशियाई देशांच्या सीमा अगदी एकमेकांच्या जवळ एकत्र येतात ते देश आहेत: भारत, चीन, ताजिकीस्तान, अफगाणिस्तान आणि पाकिस्तान.
या भागाला भौगोलिक व सामरिक दृष्ट्या अत्यंत संवेदनशील आणि महत्त्वाचे मानले जाते.
पामीर पठाराला 'जगाचे छप्पर' (Roof of the World) म्हणतात. येथूनच हिंदुकुश, कुनलुन, काराकोरम आणि हिमालय पर्वतरांगा विविध दिशांना पसरलेल्या आहेत.

The Pamir Plateau is famously known as the 'Roof of the World'. From this tectonic knot, mountain ranges like Hindukush, Karakoram, Kunlun, and Himalayas diverge.
