संसदेत मंजुरी: ग्राहक संरक्षण विधेयक 2019 हे लोकसभेने 30 जुलै 2019 रोजी आणि राज्यसभेने 6 ऑगस्ट 2019 रोजी मंजूर केले.

राष्ट्रपतींची सहमती: भारताचे राष्ट्रपती रामनाथ कोविंद यांनी या ऐतिहासिक कायद्यावर 9 ऑगस्ट 2019 रोजी स्वाक्षरी (सहमती) केली.
3.
राजपत्र व अंमलबजावणी: 9 ऑगस्ट 2019 रोजीच हा कायदा भारताच्या राजपत्रात (The Gazette of India) प्रसिद्ध झाला आणि त्याचे बहुतांश नियम 20 जुलै 2020 पासून देशात लागू झाले.
म्हणून राष्ट्रपतींची सहमती '9 ऑगस्ट 2019' (पर्याय 2) रोजी प्राप्त झाली.
