खालीलपैकी कोणता जिल्हा/कोणत्या जिल्ह्यांचे 100% भौगोलिक क्षेत्र गोदावरी नदी खोऱ्यात येत नाही?
छत्रपती संभाजीनगर (औरंगाबाद) जिल्ह्याचा उत्तरेकडील भाग (कन्नड, सोयगाव, सिल्लोड तालुक्यांचा काही भाग) सातमाळा-अजिंठा डोंगररांगेपलीकडे तापी-पूर्णा नदीच्या खोऱ्यात येतो (उदा. अंजना व पूर्णा नद्या). तसेच बीड जिल्ह्याच्या दक्षिण सीमेवरील भाग भीमा नदीच्या उपखोऱ्यात (सिना नदी) अंशतः समाविष्ट होतो. त्यामुळे औरंगाबाद आणि बीड जिल्ह्यांचे 100% क्षेत्र गोदावरी खोऱ्यात येत नाही.
जलविभाजक (Water Divides): सातमाळा-अजिंठा डोंगररांग तापी आणि गोदावरी नद्यांच्या खोऱ्यांना वेगळी करते. हरिश्चंद्र-बालाघाट डोंगररांग गोदावरी आणि भीमा नद्यांच्या खोऱ्यांना वेगळी करते.
The northern talukas of Aurangabad (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar) district—such as Kannad, Soegaon, and Sillod—lie north of the Ajanta range and drain into the Tapi-Purna river basin. Additionally, portions along the southern border of Beed drain towards the Sina river basin (Bhima tributary). Thus, Aurangabad and Beed do not have 100% of their area in the Godavari basin.
Major Water Divides: The Satmala-Ajanta range separates the Godavari basin from the Tapi basin. The Harishchandra-Balaghat range separates the Godavari basin from the Bhima basin.
